Where to Stay

Whether you feel like camping, staying in a retro mountain motel, or renting a house on Airbnb, North Lake Tahoe will not disappoint. Incline Village is about a 25-minute drive from the Venue.

Bunk rooms are available for $50 at the venue the night of the wedding. Each room sleeps up to eight people. If you feel like partying all night or don’t want to worry about driving, then let us know. Spots may fill up quickly so email us soon.

From romantic-themed motels to ultra-swank casinos, Reno has plenty of lodging options for you. Downtown Reno is about 20 minutes from the wedding venue and about 45 minutes to Lake Tahoe.

Check out the map below for details.

Parking & Directions

The wedding venue is located at the South entrance of Galena Creek Forrest off of the Mt. Rose Highway, next to the Department of Transportation Center (It looks like a fire station). There are three parking lots and the wedding will take place near the lot at the top. After this lot fills up, drop your passengers off and use a lower lot. If you're worried about climbing the hill we will have a strapping young man shuttling guests up the hill from 3:45 to 4:15 and drivers back down from 8:00 to 9:00. In the off chance all of these lots are full there is additional parking at the galena creek visitor's center at the North entrance to the park (about a 20 minute walk). If necessary, the shuttle will stop by the Visitor's Center lot as well.

Directions from Reno

Take I-580/US 395 South towards Carson City, take Exit 56 for NV-431/Mt. Rose Highway West. Follow Mt. Rose Highway/NV-431 for approximately 6.4 miles. Turn right into the South Entrance for Galena Creek Regional Park (next to the Nevada Dept. of Transportation Building). Follow signs to the upper parking lot for Camp WeChMe Lodge.

Directions from Incline Village

From the intersection of NV-28 and NV-431/Mt. Rose Highway proceed east for approximately 17.1 miles. Turn left into the South Entrance for Galena Creek Regional Park (next to the Nevada Dept. of Transportation Building). Follow signs to the upper parking lot for Camp WeChMe Lodge.

Registry

The best present we could possibly ask for is you celebrating our marriage with us. However, if you still want to spoil us, you can help us get a head-start on a down payment for our first house.
